TORONTO – Once revered as one of the best fitness clubs in Toronto, George Chaker and Josh Feuer, owners of Diesel Fitness have closed the club citing its lease expiry date of April 1st. The posh club was in operation for six years.

The club has made arrangements for members to move their memberships to Totum Life Science. However, the rumour is that the club will materialize just a few blocks west of its previous location, inside the private-members Spoke Club.

According to a letter to members, “A new exciting boutique health and yoga centre is being negotiated in the area and will be the new home for all our members and staff. We see this as our chance to EVOLVE… Once we open the new facility, present Diesel Fitness members will receive GUARANTEED ACCESS and a preferred rate. Also, all existing paid in full memberships will be honoured at the new location or at Totum Life Science.”
