S.P.R.A. SummerActive – May 8 - June 20
| The Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association (S.P.R.A.) encourages all residents of Saskatchewan to get out and get active! S.P.R.A. is inviting community leaders to celebrate the warmer weather by organizing and promoting events and programs that encourage people to adopt healthier lifestyles. The possibilities are endless and can be as simple as getting your colleagues together for a daily lunch hour walk or setting up a healthy eating cooking class for your friends.
The SummerActive website (www.summeractive.ca) provides tons of information on how to make your event a success. On the site, you can search for events in your community, register your participation and download information on how to lead a healthier lifestyle. Both leaders and participants can register their participation in SummerActive to be eligible to win great prizes! |
