CALABASAS, CA – The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), a health and fitness solutions provider and fitness professional certification authority, announced it will now offer its signature Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) and Performance Enhancement Specialization (PES) advanced specializations to licensed chiropractors.

Chiropractors will be able to attend one-day conferences across the United States to obtain applicable, clinically-relevant training to identify movement imbalances, recondition the movement system and lower injury risks.

“The NASM CES and PES programs designed for chiropractors are a tremendous resource to help these professionals better serve clientele with issues stemming from active lifestyles and sports related injuries,” said Dr. Kim D. Christensen, president of the Chiropractic Rehabilitation Association. “This training will allow physicians in the chiropractic field to further expand their skill set and provide new opportunities to help everyone from professional athletes to weekend warriors perform at their peak.”

The CES course will be offered for $598 and the PES course for $498 and includes hands-on training sessions, course materials, an oral and online exam plus a free one-year subscription to FitnessCoachPro.com, NASM’s innovative Web-based health and fitness resource for fitness industry professionals. For more information, call: (800) 460-NASM or visit: www.nasm.org.
