BOSTON – The International Health, Racquet and Sportsclub Association (IHRSA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Luke Chen as IHRSA Ambassador – China.

“Mr. Chen’s knowledge of the Chinese fitness industry, and his extensive experience with the types of programs and events which IHRSA offers its members, will be a great assistance to IHRSA in the continued growth and development of a professional fitness industry in China”, said John Holsinger, IHRSA director Asia Pacific.

Chen’s experience within the fitness industry includes several responsibilities with CSI (China Sports Investment Group), the most visible of which was as the vice secretary General of the Organizing Committee of the Fitness China trade show. His additional responsibilities for CSI included marketing & development for their CSI Bally Fitness Centres. He is currently the president of One Small World LLC China, an education, training and consultancy group for the health and fitness industry in China.
