Johnson Health Tech North America Announces New Executive Leadership
Johnson Health Tech North America (JHTNA) recently named Nathan Pyles as its new President. Pyles, who has been with the company for 17 years, takes over for the departing Chris Clawson who was appointed president of Life Fitness. In addition, Bob Zande has been promoted to chief operating officer/chief financial officer.
Pyles was the co-founder and president of Vision Fitness, one of JHTNA’s home and commercial fitness brands, and was president of Matrix Fitness where he helped increase commercial sales in North America four-fold in just three years. Pyles led JHTNA’s research and development division for eight years, and prior to accepting his new position, he served on its Board of Directors.

He has served at various levels within the organization, which gives him a keen understanding of our day-to-day operations, as well as our long-term initiatives. Bob Zande, who has served as JHTNA’s CFO since January 2009, has been promoted to chief operating officer/chief financial officer. Zande has 20 years experience in driving operational and performance improvement, and has held president, chief financial officer and general manager titles in a variety of industries throughout his career. Prior to joining JHTNA, he was the general manager of the North American Exhaust Division for Cummins, Inc., a Fortune-500 manufacturer of diesel engines and components.
