Canadian Forum and Go Canada Reception

This year's Canadian Forum will be held on Thursday March 15th 2012, from 2:00 to 3:30p.m. (room to be announced). The forum will be moderated by David Hardy, president of Fitness Industry Council of Canada (FIC) and IHRSA board member.

This year's presentation and panel discussion will focus on legislative issues affecting the Canadian market, including a synopsis of the Re:Sound music trial. The panel will also discuss emerging issues and their potential impact on the Canadian market and your business. Also included will be discussion about potential personal training legislation and the recent increase in media stories calling for more consumer protection legislation. Take advantage of this chance to discuss Canadian fitness issues with industry experts and help decide the future role and mandate of FIC.

FIC is also hosting the Go Canada Reception from 6:00 to 7:00p.m. (location to be announced) to be followed by Planet IHRSA from 7:00 - 9:00pm. Network and chat about Canadian fitness issues with leaders and experts from all across Canada.
